Create your work in the same historic spaces that have been occupied by pioneers such as Frank Lloyd Wright, William W. Denslow, Harriet Monroe, Margaret Anderson, and Lorado Taft. For nearly 125 years, this building has been home to artists, musicians, theatre makers, craftspeople, artisans, sculptors, writers, social movements, and more. The Fine Arts Building is a home for art in all forms: including painters, musicians, sculptors, yoga studios, puppeteers, therapists, coaches, craftspeople, and more. The building is also home to two performance spaces, the Studebaker Theater and Carriage Hall. Full of historic gems such as original manually-operated elevators and Art Nouveau murals from the late 19th century, the Fine Arts Building is a vibrant hub of creative inspiration and diverse artistic expression.
