Youth Fashion Camp Instructor

The Evanston Art Center (EAC), begun in 1929, is dedicated to fostering the appreciation and expression of the arts among diverse audiences by offering extensive and innovative instruction in broad areas of artistic endeavor through classes, exhibitions, interactive arts activities, and community outreach.

EAC is hiring 1 independent contractor teaching artist to teach 2 weeks of fashion design and construction camp (the week of July 6-10, 2020 and July 27-31, 2020: 8:45am-3:45pm) for ages 9-11 and 12-14 respectively. A successful candidate will be an experienced instructor with great familiarity and demonstrated experience in teaching art making and design to youth, and in particular, fashion design and construction. There is future potential for the teaching artist to teach regular classes for adults and youth throughout the year.
