Youth Animation Teacher

The Art Center Highland Park is seeking Youth Animation and Animation Intensive Instructor(s) to teach during our Summer Youth Arts Program June 17-27 and July 15-25, 2019. The Youth Animation program (ages 12-16) will cover hand-drawn flip books through digital animations and introduce Adobe Photoshop. The Animation Intensive (ages 16 & up or completed Youth Animation) will advance into more extensive digital animations and advanced Photoshop use.

The Art Center Highland Park (TACHP) is a not-for-profit visual arts organization. Since 1960, TACHP provides a visual arts education to Highland Park and its surrounding communities, assuring access to the arts for all ages and cultural interests. Offering more than 400 art classes annually in digital arts, photography, drawing, painting, pastel, printmaking, mosaics, mixed media, ceramics, jewelry making, metalsmithing, assemblage and more. TACHP also brings national and regional art of established and emerging artists to our galleries through 20 exhibits of contemporary art each year to the surrounding community and Chicagoland area.
