Winter/Spring Gallery Intern

Monique Meloche Gallery seeks an intern on a project-by-project basis this winter/spring. The primary project requires knowledge of data migration and website development. In addition to the data and research driven project, the intern may be asked to assist with general gallery day-to-day operations including assistance with maintaining artwork inventory records, electronically formatting and filing press and images, researching and updating artist biographies and CVs, and general administrative duties as needed. Future projects include creating gallery dossiers, including but not limited to exhibition histories and artist archives. The internship offers a unique, hands-on experience within a mid-level gallery, working directly with the gallery manager and director.

Requirements: BA in Art History or related field.

Knowledge of Photoshop, Microsoft Office, Wordpress, filesharing, and understanding of data management systems desired.
