Visiting Assistant Professor in Graphic Design

Indiana University Northwest is seeking to fill a faculty position for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Graphic Design in the Department of Fine Arts for the 2023-24 academic year.

The Visiting Assistant Professor in Graphic Design is a full-time, ten-month position. Responsibilities include: teaching three Graphic Design courses at all levels using online and face-to-face modalities, assisting with curricular development, implementation and Program evaluation, developing a strong research/exhibition record, supporting internships, and participating in departmental and community service/faculty governance activities.

Basic Qualifications

Required Qualifications: Terminal degree in Graphic Design or related field. Teaching experience in at the college level. Evidence of an artistic/creative program.

Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge in various media and in current digital processes, especially interdisciplinary approaches. Ability to participate in program and curricular development. Experience with multiple teaching modalities.
