Virtual and/or In-Person Dance Teacher
Improv Playhouse is looking for a virtual or in-person Dance Instructor (Jazz, Tap, Contemporary and Hip Hop) (Up to $25/hour DOQ)
Up to $25/hour, depending on experience.
SUMMARY
The Dance Instructor is responsible for the planning and teaching of instructional dance classes for theater students. Classes are typical after school hours on weekdays and during the day on weekends. Responsibilities include: workshop based individual coaching for singing, group scene work and improv skill building with musical content, and most importantly, the construction of group choreography for a digital dance showcase. Simple moves. Finesse. Attention to detail. A little bit of razzle dazzle. We'll collaborate for content, or bring your personal tastes and joys to the table.
3 years teaching experience required. (Classes available are Jazz, Tap, Contemporary and Hip Hop)
