Teaching Artists - Digital Arts
Lillstreet Art Center is accepting applications on a rolling basis for instructors to teach digital arts classes for our Drawing and Painting Department. We are hiring for in-person classes starting in September 2022 and beyond. We are specifically looking for those that can teach one or more of the following subjects:
- Digital Painting
- Digital Collage
- Introduction to Adobe Photoshop
- Digital Illustration
- Game Design
- Character Design
- Animation
- Video Editing in Adobe Premiere
- Generative Art
- Website Design
- Custom class proposals are also encouraged
Requirements
- Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in arts or higher or 5+ years as a working artist
- Weekend and evening availability for classes is a plus
- At least two years of previous teaching experience, or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience
- Positive, professional, and motivational
- Excellent people skills
- Must be comfortable working with adults of all skill levels and abilities
