Suzuki Violin Teacher

Anderson Music is seeking to hire a part-time traditional or Suzuki method violin teacher at our studio in Riverside, Illinois. We are a tight-knit, small studio and we are seeking a teacher to help us grow by staying for a minimum of 1 year. Teachers at Anderson Music enjoy the benefits of a vibrant, growing community. This is not a "set it and forget it" studio - we check in with teachers regularly to make sure your needs are met. You just show up and teach - no need to worry about marketing, scheduling, or parent education. Duties will include: providing high quality string instruction, communicating in a timely fashion with parents and caregivers, collaborating with other teachers, attending occasional studio events, and maintaining accurate schedule records. A Bachelor's degree is preferred and preference will be given to candidates with education or pedagogy training. Compensation begins at a minimum of $26.50/hour but is commensurate with experience up to 50% of tuition fees. Flat rates of $40/class are given to teachers who take on group classes. Anderson Music is a growing private lesson school in the charming hidden gem of Riverside, Illinois.
