Kidstreet Summer Camp
Lillstreet Art Center is hiring camp teachers and assistants for the 2021 Summer Art Camp.
Camps begin the week of June 14 and end the week of September 3.
This year, Lillstreet will host more than 200 different camps over a thirteen-week period. We provide a wide variety of art experiences for children of all skill levels, ages 3 to 16 years. We are seeking individuals who work within the arts and have a passion for and experience working with children.
Lillstreet offers full-day and half-day camps that run 9am-3:30pm, 9am-1pm and 1:30-4:30pm every weekday. All applicants must be available from 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Art, Education or related field Or 2 years of undergraduate art or education programExperience teaching and managing children (ages 3 - 16) in an artistic settingKnowledge of and experience in applicable camp medium (clay, drawing, painting, sewing or other mixed-media)Must be able to create and provide in-depth lesson plans and communicate supply requests to Department Director by a given deadline. Excellent communication skillsResponsible and able to follow studio rules and guidelinesQuick thinking, flexible and highly engaging in a classroom settingReliable and punctualMust be available to teach during the time slot 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday
