Position OverviewMADE Chicago is seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Studio Evening Supervisor to support the daily operations of our ceramics studio. The Studio Evening Supervisor plays an important role in maintaining a welcoming and inclusive environment for students, instructors, and visitors, while ensuring the studio runs smoothly and safely.Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist students, instructors, and visitorsAnswer phone and respond to general information emailsManage class and open studio check-in proceduresCommunicate with students regarding schedules, policies, and studio updatesSupport instructors and staff as needed during classes and workshopsMaintain and ensure a clean and organized studio environment at the end of each day.Secure the studio at the end of each shiftAdditional Duties May Include
Unloading kilns and organizing fired workOrganizing student carts and workspacesPrepping clay and other materials for classes and workshopsQualificationsExcellent communication and customer service skills2+ years of customer service experienceProficiency in Gmail, Sheets, and ChromeReliable, punctual, and able to work independentlyDetail-oriented with good organizational skillsCeramic experience or familiarity with studio tools and processes requiredAvailability evenings and weekendsSchedulePart-time; Thursday evenings 7 - 10 pm and Saturdays 1:30 - 9:30 pm. Additional closing shift pickup opportunities will be available. Compensation is $18 per hour.
