POSITION SUMMARY:
The Goodman Theatre seeks three (3) Stage Management Interns to be essential members of the Stage Management teams for the following shows: Highway Patrol, The Matchbox Magic Flute and Penelopiad. The SM Intern will join the Stage Management team beginning with pre-rehearsal preparations through the opening of the show.
This is a Non-Equity position with a minimum rate of $16.00 per hour.
DATES:
- Highway Patrol, 12/12/23 – 1/28/24
- The Matchbox Magic Flute, 1/2/24 – 2/18/24
- Penelopiad, 1/23/24 – 3/11/24
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Stage Management team with daily preparations for rehearsal
- Prepare and update paperwork for each show
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to prioritize tasks and be very detail oriented, work collaboratively as a team member and maintain a positive attitude
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
