Sound Crew

Chicago Shakespeare Theater is seeking Sound Crew for the Shakespeare in the Parks Summer tour. The tour will visit parks throughout the city of Chicago with a mobile stage unit. The sound crew will consist of an A1 and an A2, we are currently hiring for both positions. Crew will assist with load-in and load out of the production and stage as well as setting up and running sound needs for the show. Qualified candidates will have a working knowledge of theatrical sound equipment, terminology, and products, be able to execute tasks efficiently and accurately, and work as part of a team. Crew members will be present for load-in, run of show, and load out for each park. Candidates must be able to lift up to 75 pounds, be comfortable working outdoors, and have a valid driver’s license.

Position dates: July 8 – August 18

Position is paid hourly, 25-40 hours a week. Dates worked will be set at beginning of the contract, but hours will vary based on the week.
