Sewist/Seamstress

Position is 38-40 hours a week. We are also considering part time workers who can give a minimum of 20 hours a week. Starting pay is $18-$20 depending on experience and skill level, with a pathway for growth opportunities as you learn more skills and responsibilities.

Please be aware, we may bring new people on as private contractors doing sewing batch work for a month or two before we offer full time positions. That allows us the time to see if we are a good fit for each other, and to get you used to our production pacing.

After this pay-by-the-piece trial period, we can talk about options for full time positions. We have opportunities for sewists, patterners, and crafters.

Job Responsibilities: Sewing on an industrial straight-stitch machine and serger. Garment cutting skills and crafting skills. You will be sewing a variety of garments and costume components out of faux fur. Maintaining quality and production deadlines.

Requirements: Sewing skills with industrial sewing machine experience is a MUST. Organizational skills.
