Recess & After School Monitor - $19/hr

St. Clement School is looking for energetic and enthusiastic folks who want to spend time monitoring and supervising groups of school aged children during the Lunch, Recess, and After School portions of the day. Our very intentional care of students and attention to their psychological development and interpersonal relationships, coupled with the fact that we are with them during some of the most active (and often highest stress!) parts of the day, puts us professionally somewhere between summer camp AND guidance counselors! Looking for folks with a love of children, an ability to lead groups (don't be shy about blowing a whistle!), as well as empathy/emotional intelligence in spades. Bachelors degree NOT required.

We utilize Jane Nelsen's Positive Discipline, a comprehensive Social Emotional Learning protocol designed to foster student problem solving and capacity building. Weekly professional development for staff on Wednesdays.

Schedule: M-F, <26 per week. Full week commitments preferred, but definitely open to partial schedules for current students, etc.

Pay: $19.00/hr
