GENERAL SUMMARY
Support the activities of the Communications and PR Department staff during the Symphony Center performance season (roughly September through June) with tasks that may include but are not limited to drafting press materials, distributing press releases, preparing electronic press kits for media, collecting and preparing press clippings, researching media outlets and updating media lists and assisting with press ticket and photo service requests, as well as preparing for and staffing press events as assigned.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to Director of Communications and Public Relations
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
A Bachelor’s Degree in Music or Communications is preferred. Experience using WordFly and Meltwater a plus.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Pleasant office environment. Part-time schedule of up to 20 hours a week with remote and in-office hours each week
