Proof of Vaccination Inspectors

Chicago Opera Theater is seeking 4 Vaccination Inspectors for their upcoming opera, Becoming Santa Claus. Inspectors are primarily responsible for ensuring that COT patrons are either fully vaccinated, or have taken a PCR test within the previous 72 hours.

Location: Studebaker Theater, 410 S Michigan Ave

Call Times:

  • Saturday, December 11th @ 5:30pm
  • Friday, December 17th @ 5:30pm
  • Sunday, December 19th @ 1:00pm
  • Optional Dress rehearsal: Wednesday, December 8 @ 6pm

Shifts will last approximately 2-2.5 hours.

Duties:

  • Promote a positive and safe atmosphere for COT patrons
  • Check vaccination cards and IDs, negative tests, and Bindle app
  • Politely turn away any guests unable to provide proof of the above
  • Field patron questions and concerns about COT and the Studebaker Theater (primarily restroom, exit, and elevator locations).
  • Assist with medical or emergency situations
  • Ensure guests follow COT’s mask protocols (to be worn at all times).
  • Alert supervisor of any issues
  • Perform other related duties as requested

Requirements:

  • Helpful, positive demeanor
  • Demonstrated customer service or guest relation skills
  • Ability to work with crowds

Proof of vaccine and masks are required.
