Chicago Printmakers Collaborative is seeking one or two interns for Fall/Winter 2019. Internships at CPC generally require 12-15 hours of work per week in exchange for access to studio facilities. Work hours include tasks such as: cleaning and maintaining the studio, restocking supplies, interacting with visitors, designing storefronts, printing event posters, and handling artwork. During events, interns will occasionally demonstrate printmaking methods, answer questions, and handle print sales. In exchange for work hours, interns are offered full access to the printmaking facilities in which they are experienced, plus storage space. Exhibition opportunities are another perk of the position.
An in-person interview and portfolio review is required of all interns in addition to the digitally submitted CV, resume, and artwork images.
