The Arts Club of Chicago is looking for experienced art-handlers Applicants should be team-oriented individuals. There is no formal education requirement, although a familiarity with the arts is preferred.
This is a part-time position with a variable work schedule that is dependent upon our exhibition schedule. Rate of pay is commensurate with experience. Lunch while working is included.
Team-oriented individual with a positive attitude and willingness to adjust to change. Have a familiarity with and respect for fine art objects. Rudimentary carpentry/fabrication and painting experience is a plus. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb a ladder, reach in high and low places, and hold works in position for stretches of time.
