Office Assistant / Event Coordinator
Part-time office assistant / event coordinator for a new thought church in the Edgewater neighborhood. Strong office background and organizational skillset, (plus management exp helpful). Working in a small office of 3 staff. Duties include assisting with any of the following: handling bills and correspondence; assist with preparation of Sundays (in person and live stream production; plus a social hour with coffee / food every week); assisting to oversee Sunday staff and volunteers; assisting with creating and overseeing extracurricular events: outdoor picnics, fundraisers, classes (in person and zoom); setting up monthly Board Meetings; plus special events on Sundays, etc.; assisting with event inventory (paper goods, coffee, etc.); communicating and reaching out to volunteers; assisting to update website and social media; creating social media posts/events and flyers for events; misc. assistance to Youth leader or Sr. Minister. Good marketing and social media skills a plus! There is a lot of room for creativity, while organization, logic, and self-motivation is extremely important. This is a unique and interesting position. Approx 20 hours per week. Must be available
2 weekdays (Wednesdays and Thursdays) each week plus most Sundays from 10AM - 2PM.
