Nonprofit Internship w/ Art Show Focus

Seeds Center Nonprofit Internship w/ an Art Show Dynamic Focus

Seeds Center, NFP is 501(c)(3) tax exempt non-profit organization located 2 blocks away from the Berwyn Red Line, near plenty of buses, and in a robustly diverse area near Asia on Argyle, the plethora of businesses in Andersonville, and also the historical district on Bryn Mawr.

We are seeking an intern to work directly with our Executive Director on a variety of things that occur in a small, start-up nonprofit - including but not limited to our Annual Learning Process Fundraiser and Art Show.

You will be working independently and closely with our ED as she coaches you through the process of how we run our government recognized nonprofit.

Our Intern is expected on location every Saturday for about 3-5 hours/week as well as on site for our fundraiser, the whole time, Saturday May 2nd. You will also be invited for 1 Skype board meeting that can be done remotely on a Sunday afternoon sometime in March.

School credit offered upon completion of internship whether quarter, semester, or year-long (please specify in your application).

Tasks include, which can be taught:

  • Promotion of events
  • Assistance with Artwork Selection
  • Placement and Hanging of Artwork
  • Contact Compilation
  • Audience Segmentation
  • Platform and Contract Consistency
  • Real-time Fundraiser Day assistance, May 2nd

Optional: Photography, Graphic Design, or other Artistic Projects
