Musical Theater Ensemble Instructor (PT)
The Old Town School of Folk Music seeks an experienced and enthusiastic part-time instructor for Musical Theater Ensemble.
Bachelor's degree in Music or related area preferred. Two years of experience teaching piano and voice to adults is preferred.
This instructor will serve as the Musical Director for the Musical Theater Ensemble (MTE) class. MTE is team-taught and the Musical Director would need to collaborate with the Acting Director and Choreographer to teach the class.
Prior experience teaching and directing contemporary musical theatre is required. Must be able to clearly communicate with beginners and less skilled participants. Must be comfortable teaching simple harmony lines.
Availability on Tuesday evenings is required.
