Music Production & DJ Teacher Needed (For Teen Class)-- Beverly Arts Center

The Beverly Arts Center is looking for an instructor to teach an "Introduction to Music Production" on Tuesday evenings for Teens (ages 13-17) starting the first week of January and running for 24 weeks, depending on enrollment.

Additionally, a class titled "Art of the DJ" for teens (ages 13-17) is scheduled to start in March on Tuesday evenings and run for 16 weeks.

For "Introduction to Music Production", the class will use the website "soundtrap.com" to teach the basics of EQ, mixing, effects, automation, recording techniques, etc. Students will have to provide their own laptops.

In "Art of the DJ", the instructor can recommend software/equipment for how to best run the workshop. The instructor must have DJ experience and teaching experience is strongly preferred.

Pay is $80 per week to teach both 1-hour classes.

Please contact Matt McKinney @ matt@beverlyartcenter.org with a resume, music production/DJ work and/or video. Please also provide a reference.
