Marketing and Events Coordinator

The Center for Performing Arts (www.centertickets.net) serves as a welcoming cultural destination, showcasing diverse voices and stories that cultivate, connect, and inspire our community through education, entertainment, and compassionate dialogue. Our diverse team of seasoned and passionate individuals works collaboratively with artists, faculty, staff, students, Board of Advisors, volunteer ushers’ corp, and community partners to realize its vision. Together they produce, present, support and promote over 150 events annually.
The Marketing and Events Coordinator position drives revenue generation (up to $500K in ticket and rental revenue) for the Center for Performing Arts (the Center) through marketing, community outreach, development, project management, engagement, and events. The primary focus of the position is on marketing, outreach, and revenue generation through digital advertising, networking, partnerships, and group cultivation as well as project management for the Center’s performances, events, and other collaborative projects assisting the Cultural Marketing Director in creation and implementation, and staff organization of outreach, materials, projects, and agendas. Secondary focus on supporting events: coordinating event concepts, staffing and training event personnel, and coordinating event elements prior to and during events.
