Furniture Seamstress
We are a small shop with 7 employees and we are in need of an additional seamstress. You will be responsible in assisting our workroom. You will be responsible in cutting fabric, seaming fabrics, stuffing pillows, cutting welts, and assisting our seamstress on small jobs. and Must have some experience using Industrial Juki machines. Must have knowledge of fabrics as its important you are careful with silks, mohair, and acrylic velvets. Must have experience in sewing and cutting templates. Must know how to work with leather as well. We are looking for someone who loves furniture. You will be responsible in making pillows, slipcovers, and keeping inventory for the seamstress.Preferably someone bilingual as you have to communicate with the seamstress. We are looking for Part-Time or Full-Time, we are flexible with your schedule.
