Floor Manager - Albert Theatre
REPORTS TO: STAGE MANAGEMENT
DATES REQUIRED: SEPTEMBER 2020 – AUGUST 2021
The Goodman Theatre seeks a Floor Manager to be an essential member of the Stage Management team for the 20/21 season in our Albert Theatre. The Floor Manager will join the Stage Management team during the final week of rehearsal to become familiar with the show, then work with stage managers and crew during all technical rehearsals, previews, understudy rehearsals, and performances. This person will work with the Stage Managers by preparing paperwork to accurately track props, costume changes, and scenic shifts, facilitating communication between stage managers, actors and crew, and ensuring that each show runs safely and smoothly.
This is a seasonal, Non-Equity position with a minimum rate of $15.50 per hour.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to prioritize tasks and be very detail oriented, work collaboratively as a team member and maintain a positive attitude
- College education or equivalent professional stage management experience
