Event Management Intern | Recycled Art Sale | The Art Center Highland Park
Are you interested in learning more about how an event is put together? The Art Center Highland Park (TAC) is seeking an Event Management Intern to assist in the production of our Annual Recycled Art Sale. Recycled is TAC's annual Benefit, featuring thousands of pieces of art that have been donated to TAC from private collectors, galleries, estates, and institutions throughout the year, including paintings, prints, ceramics, decorative objects, vintage posters, silver, antiques, sculpture, art glass, jewelry, and more!
Internship is unpaid, but we would be happy to provide a letter and other materials of reference.
The Events Management Intern would assist the Director of Events in creating a production schedule, designing social media posts, reaching out to galleries, working with sponsors, researching art pieces, and collecting, storing, and pricing donations.
- Passion for event production and an interest in researching and pricing artwork
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Proficient in Microsoft office
Internship would be 2-3 days a week, around 10 hours/week total.
