Director of Education
Overview: The School at the Evanston Art Center (EAC) is a central pillar in the organization’s mission. The Director of Education oversees the day-to-day operations and participates in big picture management of the studios, in-person and online classes, and camps that comprise the School. This position manages a teaching faculty of approximately 75 contractors, builds the class schedule and direction of visual art centered classes, and provides the main communication with faculty and students.
Working closely with the faculty, Board of Trustees’ Education Committee, and the President & CEO, the Director of Education is responsible for developing and instituting a creatively challenging, economically expanding, interdisciplinary year-round curriculum for students of all ages.
