Development Coordinator
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Development Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in advancing the organization's mission by managing grant writing, reporting, and fundraising efforts. The Development Coordinator will work closely with the organization's President and Executive Manager to align development efforts with the overall strategic goals of UIMA.
This is a part-time, in-office position with a weekly commitment of 15 hours.
Responsibilities:
Grant Writing: Research, write, and submit compelling grant proposals to secure funding for the organization's programs and initiatives.
Reporting: Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports to grantors, showcasing the impact of their support and ensuring compliance with grant requirements.
Fundraising: Develop and implement fundraising strategies to support the organization's financial sustainability. This includes organizing events, donor campaigns, and other initiatives.
Donor Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners. Acknowledge contributions, provide updates, and ensure ongoing engagement
Administrative Support: Provide administrative support as needed, including record-keeping, data entry, and other tasks related to development activities.
Qualifications:
- Background in grant writing, with a proven track record of successful grant applications.
- Experience in donor management and fundraising within a non-profit setting.- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with donor management software.
- Knowledge of the art and culture sector is a plus
