Dance Instructor

Duet Dance Studio, a growing ballroom dance studio in Chicago Bucktown, is currently looking for Dance Instructors/Office Assistants to join our team. The position includes both dance teaching and adminstrative work. This opportunity is great for anyone who is seeking a career that is active, interactive, rewarding and fun!
*Dance experience is required. Ballroom or social dance experience is a plus. We will train the right person.

- Experienced in dance (ballet, jazz, modern or hip hop) with a strong interest in ballroom and social dance forms
- Experienced with general computer tasks and social media
- Experienced with customer service
- Available on 4 weekdays (4 pm to 10 pm) and Saturday or Sunday (Noon to 6 pm)
- Able to work at least 30 hours per week with a consistent schedule
Instructors' Responsibilities Include:
- Planning and teaching private lessons, group classes and online lessons
- Greeting students
- Scheduling lessons
- Handling emails and phone calls
- Attending meetings and trainings
- Making online dance tutorials
- Choreographing
- Participating in studio events
- Promoting studio events
- Opening and closing the studio
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the studio
