Chicago Studio Arts Coordinator

The Arts Coordinator is responsible, in collaboration with each artist, for supervising the development and implementation of each artist’s individual practice and managing their assets and archive. Working with the Art Department and collaborating with programming staff, this position oversees all studio programming and implements the Artist Enterprise Program (AEP) ensuring consistency and best practices; and supports the artistic vision of the organization including implementing projects and tracking desired outcomes. This position helps support year-round exhibition programming and gallery maintenance. The Arts Coordinator should maintain an active role in advocating for the artist’s independence and professional development. This person should have an in-depth knowledge of art materials, as well as contemporary studio and gallery practices. Additionally, this position works collaboratively with overs and supports the Development and Communications Department by ensuring consistent communications content from the studio.
