Ceramics Instructor/ Studio Sales Associate


Thrown Elements Pottery (TEP) Clay Instructors will focus heavily on the education of our students. Techniques are taught with a focus on encouraging the creative spirit, working with students to create their vision as well as provide interesting and challenging projects. One of the foundational ideas of TEP is accepting everyone no matter where they are in their creative journey with ceramics, and that is extremely important in the classes we provide and key in creating the welcoming, creative environment we strive for.


Teach assigned Clay classes including a prepared demonstration and project for each class tailored to themes, skill levels, and/or artistic trends related to the class .

Be knowledgeable of and promote other studio activities.

Track class attendance and clay usage and distribution.

Clean-up and instruct students on proper cleaning of area, tools, and equipment.

Instruct students on proper conduct within the studio, treatment of supplies and equipment, and work in progress items.
