Bridge Instructor

The Beverly Arts Center School of Fine Arts located at 2407 W 111th Street in Chicago seeks a Contract Bridge (card game) instructor for our series of Beginning Bridge, Intermediate Bridge, and Advanced Bridge workshops offered in the Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer sessions. Each workshop is 90 minutes in length. Workshops are held Monday and Wednesday mornings and Tuesday evenings. There is some flexibility in this schedule. Bridge workshop at the Beverly Arts Center is for students age 60+.
The instructor must be an experienced Bridge player with a least two (2) years experience teaching Bridge in a group setting. The following duties are required of candidates for this position:
1. Excellent communication skills required.2. Excellent time-management skills required.3. Strong teaching ability so that students are able to use the skills taught during class to actually play the game is required.4. Bridge tournament experience and the ability to organize and run a Bridge tournament preferred, but not a required.6. Instructor is required to turn in bi-weekly timesheets.

Pay is $40 per hour.
