Job Summary
The Assistant Director, Box Office & Patron Services is responsible for providing ticketing services for UChicago Arts and Logan Center users, on-campus partner organizations, other university departments, student-run arts organizations (RSOs), and community partners. The Assistant Director will lead the UChicago Arts box office, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate Audience Services student staff, manage the Box Office budget and usage fees, and support Logan Center marketing and communication efforts to increase audience size and engagement. Reporting to the Director of Communications for UChicago Arts and the Logan Center, the Box Office Manager also works closely with the leadership of various arts programs and departments.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in related field.

Work Experience: Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through 2-5 years of work experience in a related job discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated success in a box office position, with at least 2 years in a manager or supervisory role overseeing and training other staff.
  • Familiarity with multi-venue box office operations

Salary Range
$57,500-$62,500; based on experience.
