Arts and Culture Manager- Chicago Park District

The Chicago Park District is seeking an Arts and Culture Manager who oversees city-wide partnerships and programming.

The Chicago Park District’s Arts & Culture Unit (ACU) envisions parks and cultural centers as vital spaces that encourage all Chicagoans to explore the arts and their power to enhance quality of life, neighborhood development, and community dialogue. In a cultural resources portfolio including arts partnerships, community arts programming, and youth arts programs for all ages, ACU strives to increase and maintain quality cultural offerings and experiences for all Chicago's communities.

The Arts and Culture Manager oversees two programming teams: city-wide cultural partnerships and cultural centers and Young Cultural Stewards (YCS), a series of youth arts programming for parks and communities. YCS engages over 2,500 youth across 100 parks and 45 neighborhoods through community-based programming including TRACE (Teens Re-Imagine Art, Community, and Environment), Inferno Mobile Recording Studio, YCS Fellowship, and ArtSeed Mobile Creative Play.
