Artisans & Craftspeople

Are you interested in using craft to create community? Do you love sharing your talents and collaborating on creations?

We are Guild Row, a membership-based social club which aims to create community by making things together. We are looking for dynamic makers, crafters and craftspeople to create and facilitate workshops for our members and prospective members.

You will be a perfect fit if you have experience leading workshops or working with others, if you get excited thinking about all the ways in which people can come together to create through your medium, be it fiber arts, woodworking, ceramics, printmaking, spa stuff, concrete, and more.

Our campus is currently under construction in Avondale. As we wait for our space to be completed we are building our member community through events at our satellite shop in Lincoln Square. We are looking for a core group of artisans to join us during this time and then, if proven to be a good fit, transition into our core group of workshop facilitators when we open Guild Row to the public in 2020. At this time, both current and future opportunities are contract and hourly.

Our current pop-up workshop needs:

  • Create and lead one (1) 2-3 hour hands-on workshop every 2-4 weeks

...and when we open:

  • Become a part of our community of artisans who not only teach classes but work with us to conceive and curate our programmatic offerings

To apply:

  • email
  • include a link to your online portfolio or photos of your work, your resume and 1-2 workshop ideas or examples of past workshops.

Hourly, commensurate with experience.
