Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Adjunct Faculty instructors at College of DuPage are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings, courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as, face-to-face, on-line, hybrid and/or blended formats. In addition, adjunct faculty are responsible for student evaluation, and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.

Required Qualifications:

College of DuPage is seeking adjunct art instructors. Upcoming available courses for the 2023-24 academic year may include Drawing 1, 2D Foundations, Intro to Ceramics, Ceramics 1 and 2, Intro to Visual Arts, Life Drawing, and Jewelry/Metalsmithing. Applicants with expertise in multiple areas are strongly encouraged to apply.

Minimum of a Masters degree in Fine Arts required.

At least two years of teaching experience in one related area: Drawing, 2D Foundations, Ceramics, Jewelry/Metals, Intro to Visual Arts.

Proven excellence in online teaching is preferred, but most classes will be in person on main our campus.

These positions are paid by stipends for course assignments
