Acting Instructor for Ages 6 - 16 @ The Stage School
The Stage School is currently seeking a qualified acting instructor for our upcoming spring session.
The instructor will teach acting to children ages 6-16 and serve as the director for our spring production.
At The Stage School, all students study drama, singing, and dance. Students are grouped by age with limited class sizes.
Our acting teachers are responsible for directing our end of term presentation and preparing students for performance, as well as teaching fundamental skills to beginning and intermediate level actors throughout the term.
Session Dates: Saturdays, April 10 – May 15
10 AM - 1 PM and/or
2 PM – 5 PM each week
Location: Centennial Activity Center, 100 S Western Ave, Park Ridge, IL
Our on-site programs will be limited in capacity and will observe all current health and safety protocols (masks required, students distanced, etc). Our on-site production will be an original music revue of Rodgers & Hammerstein titled “Something Wonderful.”
Compensation is $35 per hour of teaching time.

Skills & Qualifications:
Ideal teaching candidates will
· be motivated, energetic, and organized
· have a strong professional background in acting and musical theater.
· have experience teaching children ages 6 - 16
· have experience in rehearsing and directing performances
· have a passion for teaching life skills to young people through the performing arts.
