SALARY RANGE: $17.78/Hour

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Goodman Theatre seeks Run Crew to join our team on our annual production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL. The Run Crew are an essential member of the company who will be join the production at the start of the technical rehearsals to learn the running of the show and will then be required to attend all rehearsals and performances as scheduled through closing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and clean the stage prior to all rehearsals and performances

• Responsible for presetting scenery and props under the direction of the House Carpenter and Stage Management Team.

• Shift scenery, aid with prop handoffs, run the show and maintain the quality of the production.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Working knowledge of backstage practices and procedures

• Be punctual and professional

• Work well as a member of a team

• Ability to repeatedly lift, push or maneuver up to 50-70 lbs., either alone or with assistance, and able to climb ladders and work in high places.
