2br/2ba 1200 Sq Ft Downtown Evanston Apartment Only $300 per month for Light Caregiving!

Are you a compassionate, positive, and supportive person? Would you like to share a lovely, two bedroom/two bathroom apartment in Downtown Evanston with a queer, non-binary (they/them) 27-year-old who has Down syndrome? They love fashion, music, writing, art, theater, and drag, and they are a big foodie!

They have a great team of family and caregivers who support them during the day, but we need someone to be at the apartment overnight (9PM to early morning - morning hours will be negotiated depending on your work/school schedule) from Sunday night to Thursday night with infrequent scheduled exceptions. They don’t need overnight care, just someone home in case of emergency.

In exchange for your presence, the family will pay for the majority of rent, and utilities for the apartment (You only pay $300 a month!), and there may also be opportunities for some extra income if desired!

Apartment location is close to Dempster and Chicago avenues in Evanston. Amenities include an indoor pool, hot tub, and workout room. The building provides free basic cable and free internet. You’ll be near the Dempster El Stop, Trader Joe’s, Space Concert Hall, Union Pizzeria, and Jewel Grocery Store. Unfortunately, the owner does not allow any pets.
