HELP CAC CONTINUE TO SUPPORT EMERGING ARTISTS AND CURATORS

When the world stayed home in the face of a global pandemic, so many of us turned to art in all its various forms—from music to cinema to sculpture—for a sense of comfort and normalcy in our upended lives.

Yet at the same time, opportunities for artists were being put on hold indefinitely. Paid work, shared creative space, and artistic fellowship all but disappeared during the pandemic, and suddenly many artists found themselves in an economic and creative crisis. During this period, Chicago Artists Coalition became a critical lifeline to artists.

Chicago Artists Coalition has risen to meet the needs of our city’s arts community since 1974, including and especially in the years since the onset of the pandemic. We are proud to be carrying that legacy forward in this extraordinary time—but we simply cannot do it without your help.

Our Artist Recovery Campaign is an ambitious, month-long campaign to raise $50,00 by June 7, 2023 for CAC to continue this important work.
