The Art Institute of Chicago is happy to share a great opportunity for Teens:
A Teen Art Competition: The Culture We Carry
Deadline, Friday, December 6 at 5pm
What story do you have to tell? What do hope, dignity, resistance, healing, identity, equality, and interconnectedness look like to you?
We invite Chicago-area teens of all cultures and backgrounds, ages 13–19, to create a work of art that reflects the way they see themselves in a multicultural, interconnected world—using photography, graphic design, digital poster design, or digital collage.
All submissions will be showcased virtually and 30 selected artworks will be displayed in the Ryan Learning Center’s McCormick Foundation Gallery. Curator’s choices will select 3 to receive scholarships to SAIC Summer intensive program.
