Stories and Thoughts on Chicago Visual Art
I'm seeking artists, art writers, gallerists, collectors, curators, and anyone working or participating in the visual arts in Chicago to share stories and thoughts on Chicago art scenes present and past. I am working on a book that aspires to act as a narrative history for many of the art communities that exist or have existed in Chicago. These stories may include interesting visits to galleries, art events, or artist studios, or having an art studio in Chicago, or trying to make it as an artist here. Candid thoughts and opinions are welcome as well as both positive and negative experiences. If I find your story helpful for the book, I will contact you back to hear more and to ask your permission to write about it.
