Open Call: MURAL in Wicker Park
Wicker Park Bucktown Special Service Area #33 is seeking qualifications and proposals for a mural to be painted on the high visibility northeast-facing wall of the Walgreen's at 1372 N Milwaukee Ave. The mural should be appealing and accessible to a broad public audience and contribute to the Wicker Park Bucktown community and artistic legacy. As a location with high pedestrian traffic and potential for vandalism, proposed murals should be thoughtful in how they engage the site. Selected mural artist will receive a stipend of up to $10,000.
