New American Folk Theatre is looking for two female presenting indigenous actors
New American Folk Theatre is looking for two female presenting indigenous actors for Jubilee: an anthology of four one-act play about life in Appalachia.
Characters are a mother and daughter in "Fledge" by Jamie Olah, about the displacement of members of the Cherokee Nation in the creation of the Great Smokey Mountain National Park. They would also possibly play Ensemble roles in the other plays.
NAFT is having a two week workshop culminating in two performances on May 22 and 23rd.
