Muted & Mighty: call for submissions for large understated works

The Martin seeks large works with an emphasis on muted color palettes for a back room exhibition opening on October 13th through November 10th. Works must be available to be dropped off at The Martin between October 1st - 5th for installation. This exhibition will run alongside Mikey Mosher's "Container Continuum" solo exhibition in our front room gallery.

Due to the large nature of the works and the short timeline, we are only accepting proposals from artists who are able to drop work off at the gallery - we will not be accepting any shipped works for this exhibition.

We are interested in submissions of all mediums as long as they are large in scale and muted in color / tone. Works must be HANG READY - wire preferred due to our large scale hanging systems in the back room.

Artists may submit up to five works to be featured. The Martin offers a 60% Artist / 40% Gallery sale split. The Martin also offers financing for any work priced over $300 to better close the gap of accessibility for collectors.

This call is open until September 8th. All artists who submit will hear from the gallery within two weeks post-submission.
