Lynx Productions is Looking for Performing Artists to Share Art About Being a Starving Artist!
As part of Yippie Fest, Lynx Productions is producing a short 25-minute experimental theater piece about what it is to be a fringe artist in the modern world.
While most of the show has been cast, there are still some opportunities to become involved
Lynx Productions is looking for artists to contribute to the show by submitting a 1-2 minute piece about their daily lives and struggles as artists. This can be any form they choose including song, stand-up, poetry, video, diary entries, spoken word, storytelling or a short interview. Selections will be chosen to be a part of the live show, and artists who are able and willing are encouraged to perform these pieces live as part of the production.
You can e-mail Cathy Crocco (Artistic Director) with submissions, for more information, or to request an example from the show.
The show is called “When Making Other Plans" and is on August 25th at 5:30 pm at the Chopin Theater.
