The Art + Design Department at Northeastern Illinois University welcomes submissions from Illinois Community College students for an exhibition of artwork with a reception on September 25th from 6:00 - 9:00PM.

JUROR

Maddie May is a Chicago-based artist and curator. Their multi-sensory artworks investigate Midwestern class and turbulent histories, spanning textiles, sculpture, print, scent, and sound processes. May holds an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a BFA from Kendall College of Art and Design.

ELIGIBILITY

The exhibition is open to all students currently enrolled in an Illinois Community or Junior College; all artwork must date from August 2020 to the present.

SPECIFICATIONS
Each student artist may submit up to three original works.
