Going Dutch Festival - Performing Arts Application

The 10th annual Going Dutch Festival, produced by Side Street Studio Arts, is a celebration of the female voice in dance, music, theater, and the visual arts. The Festival will be held in Elgin, IL June 19-21, 2020. We so fell in love with our use of spaces last year, that we are keeping it all up-close and personal again this year! We want our audiences sharing space with the artists. All performances and exhibitions will be held in smaller, more intimate spaces. No fourth wall. No pomp.

For the fourth year in a row, we have the ability to provide stipends to a select number of artists, as well as a commission for a brand new performance work to be created and premiered at the 2020 Going Dutch Festival and to support a featured visual artist! Stipends/commissions will range from $50 to $1000 and will be determined at the time of your festival acceptance by Saturday, February 1.
