"Dawn is a Headspace, Night is a Feeling" Open Call at Purple Window Gallery

We are seeking entries from artists of any media to submit to Purple Window Gallery’s February exhibition, “Dawn is a Headspace, Night is a Feeling.” This show will function as a starting point to the broader conversation surrounding emotional and psychological well-being; The various struggles we all encounter, and the coping mechanisms creatives turn to. Are you striving for connection yet find yourself retreating into isolation? How do stay present within yourself when things are feeling the most turbulent? This show can be your opportunity to make those connections with other artists and audiences. Works may cover topics such as loss, letting go/ holding on, spiritual healing, escapism, well-being, depression, stress, future tripping, growth, or anything related to our innermost selves. Please fill out the following form to submit work for consideration.

This call is open to all visual art mediums, including but not limited to painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, video, digital art, writing/poetry, and mixed media.

Deadline submit: Sunday January 14th 11:59pm

Notifications sent by: Friday January 19th

Artwork drop-off: Saturday January 27, 12-4pm

Reception: Friday February 2, 6-9pm

Artwork pick-up: Saturday March 2nd
