Context 2021: Open Call for Photography-Based Work
Filter Photo is pleased to announce Context 2021, our annual spring open call for photography-based work. This year the exhibition will be juried by Juli Lowe, Director of the Catherine Edelman Gallery
The juror will consider all types of photography-based work for this seventh annual survey exhibition of contemporary photography. This open theme allows for the widest understanding of the medium and current photography practices. She is open to all interpretations of photography.
Context 2021 will open on March 26th at Filter Space and remain open through May 1st. A juror’s choice award and an honorable mention will be awarded. The juror’s choice award includes a $500 cash prize.
The cost to submit is $25.00 for up to five entries. All types of photographic work will be considered. Videos will not be accepted. Please note that accepted artists are responsible for the costs of shipping work to the gallery, as well as return shipping costs.
